Grow Your Business by Adding New Revenue Streams

So you want to grow your boutique Pilates studio. You’ve got all the right ingredients — but finding ways to increase revenue can be a challenge.

Tell me if this sounds familiar:

  • You could build your own teacher training program, but you’re already as busy as it is.

  • You don’t want to waste time experimenting with new programs that don’t help you meet your revenue goals.

  • You’d like to be able to build consistency among the staff to improve the customer experience and keep clients coming back again and again.

What you need is a tried and true stream for revenue growth that is repeatable, reliable, and most importantly, enhances the experience of everyone who works with and for your studio.

You Know Teacher Training is the Answer But…

Let’s face it, teacher training can be both cost AND time prohibitive.

If you’re a Pilates studio owner who wants to do the training, building your own teacher training is labor intensive.

  • You’ll need to create all the components — curriculum, videos, workbooks, manuals, and more.

  • Then there’s the licensing. You’re going to need to make sure everything included in your training meets the national guidelines.

Since you’re already busy running your own studio, where can you possibly fit all that in?

That’s why having a fully developed Pilates teacher curriculum that you can jump right into could make all the difference.

Why Bring Teacher Training In-House?

For Pilates studio owners, there are many different ways you could pursue teacher training.

The reality is that most options available lack personalization and hands-on support with implementation. You run a Pilates studio, so a big-box solution feels wrong, especially as you won’t get the required guidance and support unique to your situation.

So instead of sending your students and staff to a host site for training, why not RUN the training?

For Pilates studio owners, teacher training offers a proven way to:

Increase revenue

Instead of paying someone else to train teachers, you’ll retain that revenue. The money you invest in teacher training will come back to you exponentially as you run teacher training on a regular basis.

Improve retention

Give your students and staff the opportunity to further their training at a studio they already know and love.

Attract more prospects

Imagine being able to get to know someone for a whole year before you hire them. Teacher training is like a year-long, hands-on interview, allowing you to observe how someone practices and teaches.

Improve client experience

Having teachers who are trained consistently means your clients can count on your studio and teachers to deliver an outstanding experience every single time they come to class.

Leverage untapped potential

You see people in your business that would be amazing Pilates teachers but have no idea how to get them the training they need. Having teacher training in-house gives you — and them — a direct path toward making this happen.

In our teacher training program, we’ve done all the hard work of developing the curriculum, leaving you with an already-developed program for teacher training that you can repeat again and again.

Hands-On Support for Studio Owners with a Proven Pilates Teacher Training Program

When we work together, you’ll get absolutely everything you need to run a successful Pilates teacher training program at your studio.

The biggest difference when you work with me is the hands-on support in going from the idea of teacher training to putting it into action. With my mentoring, you go from the idea stage to offering their first training in months, not years.

You’ll have the full program AND the support you need to transform your studio while adding new revenue.

While being mentored in the Pilates Teacher Training Program for Studio Owners, you’ll meet with me in a series of one-hour calls to cover the following:

  • Onboarding to get to know you and your studio.

  • Curriculum overview call to discuss teaching timelines and specifics of each level so you’re well prepared to teach it.

  • Discussion on how and when to conduct Teaching Labs, Physical Teaching Assessments, and Mentoring Sessions with your students.

  • Future plans for your Pilates teacher training programs, including additional revenue streams.

After your initial calls, you’ll have the option of continued support from me with one of my monthly recurring support packages.

To make sure you get the support you need, between calls you have access to me via email for all of your questions. I’ll be with you every step of the way as you get your program up and running.

Hi, I’m Suzy

With 30 years of experience working in the wellness space both in a big corporate setting (Life Time Fitness) and my own boutique studios, I’ve seen it all. Over the years, I’ve helped many budding Wellness business owners and Pilates students visualize their dreams and put them into action.

Over the years, there’s been one question that comes up time and time again from studio owners — “How do I increase my revenue?”

While adding more classes may seem like the obvious answer, the problems studio owners often run into are always the same. They don’t have a strong pool of teachers to pull from and they don’t have the tools and resources to do their own training in-house.

And so the Pilates Teacher Training program was born.

As an experienced Pilates teacher, I’m passionate about teaching and understand how having qualified candidates to teach can be transformative for your studio.

My Pilates Teacher Training program is a tried and tested method that allows Pilates studio owners to build a strong revenue stream for their businesses. When you bring your Pilates training in-house, you’ll have the opportunity to pick the best instructors in your program to hire for your own studio, improve your quality of instruction and increase client retention.

How It Works:

Teach the Teacher

When running the Pilates Teacher Training program at your studio, the exercises and Pilates Principles will be taught in five weekend modules totaling 90 hours.

You’ll have absolutely everything you need to deliver this training including:

  • A complete library of Mat and Apparatus Videos for each exercise.

  • Detailed, comprehensive Instruction Manuals organized by levels for every exercise.

  • Pilates Terminology, Concepts  & Pilates Principles videos and definition sheets.

  • Complete History of Pilates section.

  • Complete Learning Modules for each Level 1-5.

  • Progress Tests for Mat and All Apparatus.

Each weekend your students will learn exercises on all of the apparatus specific to the level that they’re studying. Learning exercises on all of the apparatus will help them thoroughly understand the relationship of the exercises to each other and also the relationship of the exercises to the equipment.

In addition to the weekend modules for your teachers in training, there will be five 3-hour Anatomy Workshops and six 2.5-hour special programming workshops, covering topics such as:

  • Osteoporosis

  • Special populations

  • Pregnancy

  • Teaching with props

  • How to plan and teach a balanced class

  • Accessing posture

All of the workshops are offered to your teachers in training using an online learning portal (via an online teacher’s portal provided as part of your Pilates Teacher Training Package) so they can complete them at their own pace during the 12-month training.

All of your teachers in training will be required to observe, teach, and practice Pilates throughout their training to help them grow as an instructor and a student of the Pilates Method. This will help ensure you aren’t just training teachers, but you’re training teachers consistently that are people you want working in your Pilates studio.
